Looking for a book probably written mid to late 80s. There was a (rich?) girl who was sent to therapy and part of her therapy was to go in a room and just destroy things. I feel like she stuffed a flute full of play doh maybe? And there was an island involved; she might have been kidnapped?

YES it is definitely The Kidnapping of CvanA & What’s-Her-Name–I remember that flute full of Play-Doh! And her clothes that said DROP DEAD and I SAID DROP DEAD.
