Trying to find the name or author of a book I read, probably in 1978-1980 time frame. It was called, “Out of Bounds” – it was probably like a scholastic book I ordered from school. It was about a girl who played basketball and had to play on the boys team, there was a crush or romance involved. Any idea of the author? Where I could find it? Lost Classics of Teen Lit: Name That Book! 
Would this be “Zanbanger?” The character’s name in the three books (Zanballer/girl on boys’ football team), Zanbanger (girl on boys’ basketball team) and Zanboomer (girl on track & field team) was Suzanne and the author was R.R. Knudson, although Zanbanger had a two-person byline of Knudson and R. Rozanne. Suzanne (Zannie) had a nerdy friend named Arthur who was her go-to for advice.
