I’m looking for a YA novel where the main characters are Connie and Rudi, and one day they wake up in each other’s bodies. Connie is a normal teen and Rudi is a prince of some kind. Slowly they work out that something is out to get them and during the final showdown bit they switch minds frequently; one of them is climbing a wall; it’s nighttime. I remember the book cover art: light blue background, with one face front on and one face in profile, overlapping in an optical illusion

Looking for a book I read in the early 80s. Similar theme to Lord of the Flies. All the adults died or disappeared. The teenagers and kids taught themselves to drive and even fly a plane.

I’m searching for a story that was read to our class around 1967. It was about a Viking flying ship ! If I remember correctly they went on various adventures.

there’s one book I’ve been dying to remember since being obsessed with it in third grade (around 2011). I think it was a hot pink book and the title was something like “A Girl’s Guide to Life: Everything A Girl Needs to Know” (except I don’t think so because every time I google that I can’t find it). It was full of how-tos and fun facts and history and, like, stuff about the world and different cultures? I remember a page about Amelia Earheart and another about the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle and Easter Island statues, and maybe stuff about animals too? That’s as much as I can remember but I would love to find this book again.

I am hunting a short book/story, which I think might be from the 60s, and maybe with a pink cover. It’s about a lady who may have some kind of mania, and progressively sells all of her belongings in hope of buying ?a handbag (maybe i made this bit up). Thank you!

One book I’d like to find again has eluded me for years, despite umpteen searches. I think it was inspired by the Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, and Encyclopedia Brown. All I remember is a family (cousins?) visiting a house and seeing little colored (windup?) mice.

I read this book in 6th grade (2000-2001). It was about an archaeological dig – they were looking for the missing link. There were chapters about the daughter of the archaeologist, and also about a girl of the species they were studying. The missing link girl used nets to catch fish.

For years I been trying to remember the name of a book which involves small creatures pushing each other down a hill in a tin can. I feel like I’ve imagined it but the memory seems so real! Can you help?

The book I’m trying to recall is about a girl whose name I don’t remember but it was kind of unique I think. She’s being raised by a single father and he develops some kind of brain condition that leaves him bedridden. Then a bunch of his friends come to take care of him. I remember they paint like a whole mural on his wall at one point and I also remember that one of them is a therapist.

It was a YA novel. The family was all women, I think in Vermont or New Hampshire, the main character was a girl. I think one of the twists was that her mom wasn’t really her mom or something. The aunt painted their room all the time, one time it was tangerine walls with Avocado trim. They could all fly. This wasn’t common in the world it was just this family. Grandmother, mother, aunt, maybe a second aunt. The cover was a girl flying like a bird over a New England countryside. They flew once they were 16 or something, maybe just some nights and not every night?
