I’m trying to find a YA book about the Salem Witch Trials. All I remember is, in the “present day” (which for the purposes of the book was probably around the 1990s), presumably on an important anniversary of the events of the Salem Witch Trials, children who were descendants of the accusers of the people put to death wake up with mysterious ailments that mirror the way in which the “witch” their respective ancestors accused was put to death (e.g. a descendant of Giles Corey has chest pains). Does anyone have any ideas?

I am looking for a YA novel set shortly after WW 2. The father is dead and I think from the Usa. The mother is English. She has a job as a caretaker of an old country house. The mother has a son and a daughter who use an old book to change the past. I read this in the early 70s.

Fantasy style book with airships. I got free on world book day in the mid-late 90s. May or may not have cloud in the title.

I read a YA novel when I was young about two sisters and they move I think and find a scrapbook or diary or something and then they start seeing ghosts I think? My memories are so vague but I think the ghost people start off nice but end up being evil. I don’t think I made this up so I’m just checking if this is a real book someone may recognize.

I have absolutely scoured the internet for a book I remember reading in what must have been the early 2010s. All I remember is that a girl is in an iron lung, pretty isolated from the world, and she starts forming a relationship with her neighbor. One detail I can recall is that her dad made her a special mirror that allowed her to read books.

I barely remember the details of this book. Would have read it between 2008-2012. To sisters who are I believe korean-american, sit in the car while their mom works in the factory. The main character is the younget sister. That is all I can remember and I have always wanted to reread it to figure out more of what it was about.

It’s a children’s book. It is about different animals, like safari animals, etc. The pictures/art were almost like a watercolor — very whimsical, pinks and purples. I remember a giraffe, a leopard, and a lion in it. I want to say it had something to do with heaven but I’m not really sure. When I think of it I also think of clouds and the sky.

Hi omg im so glad i found this site. I read this book in middle school, so early 2010’s (probably 2014?) (definitely a YA fiction) and it was about two girls and a brain transplant. one of them was this famous super model or something (can’t remember what she did exactly, i just know that she was famous) and the other was this ordinary girl. can’t remember many details but i know one of the girls got hit by a massive tv and ended up in the hospital (im thinking it was the ordinary girl) and the famous girl ended up in the hospital with some terminal brain illness (i think, the details on how the famous girl wound up in the hospital are super blurry but i just know they ended up in the hospital at the same time). the doctors at the hospital then transplant ordinary girls brain into famous girls body. ordinary girls body is now dead and she has to live her life as the famous girl but with all her old memories. that’s all i can remember and i’ve been looking all over for it, it would be great if someone could help me figure out the name. thanks in advance!!

Pretty sure it was by Dean Koontz but not 100% sure. A guy is a villain/therapist who preys on people and makes them think they have mental illnesses. He convinced a lady she has agoraphobia. The main character and her husband (Dusty Rhoades i think was his name?) Investigate the guy but he tries getting into their heads too.

Hi! I’m looking for a series that I read in the 2010s, and was probably published in the 2000s, maybe the 90s. I remember the cover of the third or fourth book, and it has a brunette girl centered with sprawling hills behind her. I think it had mostly brown tones. There may be ogres in the series, and possibly a Gandalf type of character. I believe I found it in the same section as Fablehaven, and it might’ve been written in a similar vein. I loved this series, but cannot remember what it is! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
