The book is a take on red riding hood. The main character has a sister who is favorited by their parents and is ‘perfect’. In the first few chapters it mentions how her sisters water is always sweetened with honey. I believe they live in a mining town? Basically the wolf is a werewolf and keeps killing off the townsfolk. There’s some sort of leadership that comes into the town to help them but really just wants to take over the town. This antagonist leader at some point puts a small boy (the main characters friend?) in an ‘iron elephant’ to torture him into admitting he’s the wolf. The boy dies. The wolf ends up being her father?

I read when I was 13 a mythology book that wasn’t necessarily YA. I think it might have been a black paperback with white text. Each chapter was a different love story. I think the guys were knights and there were forests. Not the typical Greek god stories though I do remember one like Persephone and one like Sisyphus so maybe it was. It was the most romantic thing I’ve ever read.

I only have a few details but I would have read this in elementary school. No idea if it would have been new or old then, but def published before like 2000. From what I remember, a kid has a sister (younger?) who goes out in a snowstorm (to protect a lamb? a lamb is involved) but goes missing. Turns out she gets caught in some sort of alterate world/fairy realm/possibly a snow globe?? (I know this sounds insane lol.) But I would love to know if anyone can ID it!

This is a YA drama/romance that was most likely made in the 2010s. It was about a girl who has an older sister that disappeared and left clues for her. The night she figured out her sister was missing, she met a guy at a party who apparently knew the sister and they went on an extensive road trip to find her. I read this when i was 15 and have been trying to find it for years.

I’m looking for a book I read in 2005 or 2006. It was either 5th or 6th grade. I only remember a very few vague details. There was a boy and his uncle (or grandpa) who is a scientist? The uncle takes them on a trip to another world/dimension/time? I remember them having an encounter with Medusa? And other creatures of the like, but I specifically remember medusa. If you could help me I would greatly appreciate it, this has plagued me for SO LONG. This book was one of my favorites as a ki

This is my book I’ve always wanted to find again: it was I THINK a collection of sci-fi short stories, in one of which a character’s skin becomes translucent or transparent to the point that they can see all of their internal organs (which presumably remain as opaque as usual). At some point in the process of becoming translucent/transparent I think they went to live in a cave.

There’s this book I would have read close to thirty years ago, and I believed it was about two or three young men, possibly teenagers, who somehow travelled back in time. There was some about a marsh or swamp and dinosaurs, I think. For the life of me I can’t recall
