Hi! I’ve been searching for a specific book for years now, and this is honestly my last hope haha. I read this book around 2016, could be earlier but around that time. It’s a young adult book about a group of delinquent teens who are sent to a camp with a super strict counselor. I think it’s written in the points of view of each different teen (both boys and girls) but I’m not sure. I remember that they were forced to hike this really long trail and the counselor was yelling at them the whole time. There was also a scene in the book where the teens sneak into the counselors tent to use the radio but I think it was broken or something. And in the end the teens all tried to escape through a cave but there was a flood and I’m pretty sure the counselor followed them to the cave and drowned. That’s pretty much all I know. Thank you!

I need help finding a fantasy/sci-fi book of my youth (late 1970s/early 1980s). Swords and sorcery adventure with a hero who returned from the Crusades. He fought with an unusual, curved sword called a “falchion” that he picked up in the Middle East. I think there may have been a series, but I only read one. Help!

It was about a deep sea fishing crew that found a fish-human hybrid that goes on a rampage to kill it. It was fairly contemporary so would’ve been set in like the 2000s or something. The tag line was something along the lines of “their first mistake was bringing it on-board. Their second mistake was assuming it was dead. Their last mistake was assuming it was the only one.”

I read a book sometime between 2001-2005 about a witch who lives in the woods and is a loner/outcast and it’s deeply cottagecore and I think the cover had a lot of green on it.

A story where two sisters move to this small town and it has a sign that lists how many residents live there. The younger sister befriends the main protagonist girl in the story. The new girl’s older sister is a goth I think? She starts dating the main protagonist’s older brother. The goth sister dies I believe and the brother is very sad about it. Because of what happened the younger sister and her family move out of the town. The protagonist changes the population number to include her friend as someone who lives there. I think her name was Summer.

This was an anthology of children’s stories or children’s literature that was in print in the middle 1970’s. The hard cover was a robin’s egg blue and the book was relatively thick, but *not* coffee table sized. One of the stories was about a Spanish infanta (princess) who was under the protection of her duenna (like a guardian or nanny). Possibly also had Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales but not sure.

YA book I read in like 2012 it is set in like Ancient Rome or Greece. it’s about this girl who falls in love with this boy but he ends up being a god of some sort. In order for them to be together she had to pass this test where basically you have a skill and you must become the god of that skill. She chooses dancing or singing I think. And if you’re like holy enough you will be able to swallow this liquid and become a god she does this while dancing and ends up swallowing it and she becomes a god.

I remember a full colour illustrated book about an underground cat kingdom, with large cat statues and river channels. It has been wrecking my head trying to remember more but I recall the feeling of wonder associated with it as a child.

I don’t remember much of it, i read it in Middle school or Elementary But i remember the cover was yellow (it wasn’t nancy drew). It was about this girl who had some ghost in the attic of the house she lived in & became friends with the ghost & i want to say they solved like a problem for the living girl & a problem for the ghost person but i’m not 100% sure
