There was this book I read when I was a kid that gave me nightmares. It was definitely a series, possibly young adult/pre-teen books. Halfway through it, the protagonist’s parents are in a car crash (the car flips on the motorway) because of some ghost/spirit/esoteric creature gets into the car radio. Like a horror fiction young adult book. I have a feeling there were 5+ books. I can’t remember anything else other than the car flipping. I’m based in Ireland so maybe an English or Irish author? Although maybe a red herring. It was a popular series for sure. I’m 26, so likely 14 years ago at least?
